Our Story
Patriot Real Properties was built on a foundation of passion, perseverance, and community. Our founder, Karin Murphy, purchased her first home at just 19 years old in Centereach, NY, after years of studying real estate investing through a TV Salesman, Carlton Sheets. That first property—a HUD house—became her classroom. Two years later, she sold it for a sizable profit, and more importantly, she discovered her calling. Real estate wasn’t just about property...it was about possibility.
From the start, Karin understood that success in real estate is tied to understanding the bigger picture: infrastructure, policy, and the economic forces shaping our towns. Today, that knowledge is passed down to our team, helping every agent guide buyers and sellers with clarity and purpose. By focusing on each client’s goals first, we work backward to create strategies that deliver real results.
Karin and her son, Connor, combined their strengths: marketing, ethical business practices, and a genuine care for their neighbors—into something rare: a brokerage that feels both deeply professional and deeply personal. Patriot Real Properties is a family business not just because it’s led by a mother and son, but because every agent here rallies together as family.
